THE son of NSW's most wanted man has been refused bail after he was charged over the shooting death of a high-ranking Hells Angels bikie.
Wade Basanovic, 21, is accused of murdering senior bikie Zeljko Mitrovic, 45, at a trucking business in Wetherill Park in Sydney's southwest in January, police say.
Mr Mitrovic was allegedly shot during a confrontation involving up to seven men.
A worker at the business was also injured during the attack by a stray bullet.
Basanovic was taken into custody at Sydney's International Airport on Saturday morning after Australian Federal Police (AFP) negotiated with his lawyer to convince him to return to Australia from Bali, an AFP officer told AAP.
He was charged with murder and reckless grievous bodily harm in company.
Basanovic did not apply for bail at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday, and bail was formally refused.
The case was adjourned to Central Local Court on July 11.
Basanovic's father, Michael Basanovic, was added to the State's Most Wanted list in March following investigations into Mitrovic's murder.
The AFP said they were still working to arrest the fugitive.
Another man is also facing charges relating to being an accessory to the murder, police said.
